Customized Project Types

Two project types are available in the program:

• Archive
• Backup

The Archive project type allows to add single files or folders to the project as you like. Working with AceBackup Archive is similar to working with ZIP, ARJ or CAB files. One of the main differences is that in the AceBackup Archive, files can be backed up encrypted or on the FTP server.

The Backup project type conforms to the "classic" backup project types: Here you define folders or complete drives which are to be backed up immediately or in certain intervals (also scheduled and automatically).
