Status bar

1. Tip area

Here you find brief discriptions of the commands. To see the description of a certain command move the pointer to the command.

2. Status area

Here you see the status of the program.

Connecting - AceBackup is connecting to the backup media (This can be a FTP server, or your local network).

Disconnecting - AceBackup is disconnecting from the backup media.

Closing - AceBackup is closing the current project.

3. Security settings status

A lock icon is displayed, if your current project is encrypted.

4. Media connection status

Media online is displayed, if AceBackup is connected to the backup media and Media offline, if AceBackup is not connected. To connect to or disconnect from the backup media, click the corresponding menu item of the Project menu.
