These settings determine the action that should be performed, if a file is added to a project folder that already contains a file with the same name, but from a different directory.
NOTE: If you add a file to a project folder that already contains a file with the same name and from the same directory, a name collision occurs. To determine the action that is to be performed during a name collision, refer to the Project properties section.
You can choose one of these options:
Overwrite existing - the newly added file will replace the old file, i.e. the item in your project will be linked to the file located in the new folder.
Place to new folder - to create a new subfolder in your project. The new file will be placed in the subfolder, thus preserving both the new and the old files. Enter the name for the collision subfolder in the edit box to the right.
Preserve existing - the newly added file will be discarded, i.e. the item in your project will stay linked to the file located in the old folder.
Mark the Ask me always checkbox, if you wish to be prompted every time an original location collision occurs.
